Caption: Best jungle tip I know. One dry set of clothes, waterproofed in your pack. Every evening, wet gear off, dry gear on, dry your feet, let any cuts heal overnight. In the jungle, wounds fester fast. The morning routine is brutal. You take the dry clothes off and you put the wet ones back on. It's horrible but essential. The mistake people make is thinking they'll just start the day in the dry set. They get wet within an hour and now they've got two wet sets. Game over.

Caption: I've spent time in deserts. I know a little of what heat and hunger does to you. What Jesus went through for 40 days out here is hard to even imagine. And then at the end of it, when he was most broken, the temptation came. That's always how it works. Our enemies doesn't come when we are strong. Ever since I first heard them, whilst standing in an underground bunker at the end of eleven months of 21 SAS Selection. Trousers ripped. Blood and mud on my face. The commanding officer stood in front of us and said this: “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is often just the word extra. When every part of you says stop, that's the moment. Give a little extra. Give more. That's where the summits are. Always a little further.” Most people never find out because they stop just before.

Eight incredible Hollywood guests who came into the wild as rookies but who left as survivors and adventurers. That's what I love about this show and the journeys.
