Caption: From @martin_sikma We stopped at a small bridge and searched for some birds along the side of the river. Suddenly, from higher up in a tree close to us, a bird flew full speed into the reeds and appeared with a huge grasshopper in its beak! Only then we saw it was a woodland kingfisher that was hunting for insects. They next few days, we saw many more of them though it was most of the time difficult to get a proper angle for photography as they would sit high in the tree overlooking the grasslands.

Caption: 📷 from @kateochsman I made this image in midday in the Kruger about 6weeks ago. It was 13:00, 104degF, and I was enjoying the hot, dirt road drive. All of a sudden a swaying tail caught my eye, and behold - this stunning male leopard! He perched at the top of this solitary tree to get some breeze and a break from the hot day. It was an incredible sighting - one of my best ever for leopards.
